Sienna Spiro is the first major international star announced for the 2026 ARIA Awards. The British pop artist will make her ARIAs debut when she performs on stage next month at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion, weeks after the release of her debut album, Visitor.
Spiro will join a list of international performers who have appeared at the Australian recording industry’s flagship awards, including Alicia Keys, Ava Max, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Halsey, Kane Brown, Khalid, Lorde, One Direction, Robbie Williams, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift and Olivia Dean. Dean has been a strong presence on the ARIA Charts since her performance at the 2025 edition.
Career milestones
- More than 33 million monthly listeners on Spotify, the headline sponsor of the ARIAs, and 2 billion streams in total.
- Three simultaneous entries on the Billboard Hot 100.
- Six entries on the ARIA Singles Chart.
- “Die On This Hill” certified platinum by ARIA; “You Stole The Show,” “MAYBE,” “Material Lover” and “The Visitor” certified Gold in Australia.
- Six top 40 hits in the U.K., including a No. 1 with “Great Expectation.” Visitor peaked at No. 2 on the Official U.K. Albums Chart.
Spiro performed “Great Expectation” at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles last month. The Billboard report said the performance earned a standing ovation. She also received the Moonman for best new artist.
This will be Spiro’s second visit to Australia, following an intimate fan event in 2025 at Pleasure Club in Newtown, Sydney. She will return in January 2027 for her Visitor Tour, which sold out within hours.

Awards context
Tame Impala and Genesis Owusu lead the nominations with eight each for the 40th annual ARIA Awards, while Ecca Vandal follows with seven. In total, 29 artist categories will be announced during the ceremony.
The 2026 ARIA Awards are supported by Destination NSW, in partnership with Spotify. The show will be streamed live on Paramount+ and broadcast on Network 10. Performances and additional moments will be available on the @ARIA.official YouTube channel.
