The Lost Boys, a musical adaptation of the 1987 film directed by Joel Schumacher, has opened on Broadway at the Palace Theatre. The story follows brothers Michael and Sam who move to the coastal town of Santa Carla, California, where they encounter a motorcycle gang of teenage vampires.

The production features an original score by Tony-nominated rock band The Rescues, blending 1980s rock with theatrical melodies. The cast includes Tony winners Shoshana Bean and Ali Louis Bourzgui, alongside Broadway favorite Paul Alexander Nolan and newcomer LJ Benet.

The musical is directed by Michael Arden and features set design by Tony winner Dane Laffrey, with dynamic lighting by Tony winners Jen Schriever and Michael Arden. Aerial design and production choreography are by Tony-nominated duo Lauren Yalango-Grant and Christopher Grant, incorporating high-flying circus-style athletics throughout the production.

The production won four 2026 Tony Awards. The book was written by Tony nominees David Hornsby and Chris Hoch, with costumes by Tony nominee Ryan Park, makeup designs by Christina Grant, and wig designs by David Brian Brown.
