Troye Sivan and Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, teamed up for a TikTok set to ‘Cowboy,’ a track from Sivan’s newly released album She’s the Best. The album was released on Friday, October 9.
Sivan shared the clip on Tuesday, October 13, captioning it with two cowboy emojis and tagging Role Model. In the video, the two musicians dance along to the song. Pillsbury also shared the TikTok to his Instagram Story.
The pairing nods to Pillsbury’s former alter ego, Saint Laurent Cowboy, a persona he embraced before adopting his current alter ego, Chuck Timely. In a separate Story slide, Pillsbury reposted a fan’s X post featuring the pair together and added the words ‘SAN DIEGO TONIGHT’ over it, referencing his tour stop in the city.
Both artists have recent releases. Role Model’s Chuck Timely & The Hourglass reached the top 10 of the Billboard 200 in August. Sivan’s She’s the Best follows his 2023 album Something to Give Each Other, which debuted at No. 20 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart. The album’s fan favorites included ‘Rush,’ ‘One of Your Girls’ and ‘Got Me Started.’
According to Billboard, She’s the Best will impact next week’s Billboard charts.
