Shakira closed her European residency in Madrid on October 12, 2026, with a final concert at Macondo Park that featured several guest performers. The show was the 13th of the residency and concluded four consecutive performances from October 9 to 12. The date coincided with Spain’s National Day (Día de la Hispanidad).
Maluma returned for a second consecutive night to perform “Chantaje” and “Agua” with Shakira. Laura Pausini performed a duet of “Antología,” and Dani Martín joined for “Te Dejo Madrid.” Beéle performed “Algo Tú” with Shakira, and Bizarrap closed the show with the singer, performing “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53.” Dancers from the Carnival of Barranquilla also performed during the concert.
Shakira said she had also gone through difficult moments during the residency, including her father’s health issues and other personal challenges. “There has been a before and after for me. It’s all felt like a dream, and honestly, I don’t want to leave,” she told the audience.
Attendance and production
According to the artist, around 700,000 people attended the shows at the Shakira Stadium during the residency. Shakira said more than 10,000 people worked on the production, including the themed city built around the stadium. She thanked Sony Music, Live Nation, her team, musicians and dancers.
The residency began with eight dates and was expanded to 13 shows. Drones formed the shape of a she-wolf and a “12+1” display near the end of the final concert.
