A$AP Rocky appears to have offered to help distribute the new album from FERG, his longtime friend and collaborator. FERG posted on Instagram that the follow-up to his third solo album, Darold, is finished and asked who wanted to distribute it.
In a comment on the post, Rocky congratulated FERG and seemingly offered the services of his AWGE label, writing, “U know where home is,” alongside a red heart emoji.
The exchange follows recent back-and-forth in the media over FERG’s decision to drop “A$AP” from his stage name. Rocky told Apple Music the change bothered him: “That sh bothered me but I ain’t gon’ hold it against him, and I wish him the best.”
FERG told Complex that removing “A$AP” from his name was about growth. “I feel like that’s a personal thing for him,” he said about Rocky’s comments. He added that he has to follow his truth and that “there’s nothing wrong with growing.”
Rocky is also preparing his first Australia and New Zealand tour in eight years, with five dates scheduled for December.
