ATEEZ’s Hongjoong Releases ‘ENOuGH’ With Bazzi

ATEEZ's Hongjoong Releases 'ENOuGH' With Bazzi Music News
ATEEZ leader Kim Hongjoong released the collaborative single "ENOuGH" with artist Bazzi on September 18, 2026. The track marks Hongjoong's first official solo collaboration project, created during a rare break from the group's busy schedule.

Kim Hongjoong, leader of K-pop group ATEEZ, released the single “ENOuGH,” a collaboration with artist Bazzi, on September 18, 2026. The atmospheric pop song was created in April 2026 during a Los Angeles studio session and represents Hongjoong’s first official solo collaboration project.

Hongjoong explained the song’s origins and meaning in an interview with Billboard. “When I started to write this song, I wanted to sing about a topic I’ve never sung about before,” he said. “In my head, sometimes I felt not enough. But these days, after Coachella and after I got a little vacation, I thought about how something beside me, something nearby, already makes me enough.” The track explores themes of contentment and self-discovery rather than serving as a full solo debut.

The collaboration came together naturally after Hongjoong and Bazzi met at BST Hyde Park Festival in London on June 28, 2026, where both performed. Hongjoong had long admired Bazzi’s work, having covered songs including “Mine” (2017) and “Beautiful” (2018) during his training years. “When I was training, his songs were very big inspirations to me,” Hongjoong said. The two exchanged contact information, and Hongjoong subsequently sent Bazzi the track, which he accepted immediately.

The release comes during ATEEZ’s most successful period. In June 2026, the group released their EP “GOLDEN HOUR: Part.5,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 228,000 equivalent album units—a career high. The EP’s lead single “BAD” achieved viral status in South Korea and helped ATEEZ secure their first entry on the Billboard Global 200. All eight ATEEZ members re-signed with management company KQ Entertainment for seven additional years in July 2025, with the new contract allowing increased space for individual projects.

Hongjoong’s solo work is part of a broader shift within ATEEZ toward individual pursuits. Member Mingi released a six-track solo EP in May 2026, while other members have pursued acting and independent projects. Hongjoong framed these individual endeavors as essential for the group’s longevity. “Everyone needs to express themselves and that makes synergy,” he said. The group also scheduled two vacation periods for 2026—their first formal breaks since debuting.

The “ENOuGH” music video, shot in Los Angeles the day after Hongjoong’s Billboard interview, features a space-travel concept with Hongjoong visiting collaborators’ planets. “My planet is ATEEZ, from now and forever, so my home is ATEEZ,” Hongjoong said of the narrative’s conclusion.
