Billboard Canada has announced additional honourees for Billboard Canada Women in Music 2026. Cardi B will accept the Global Woman of the Year Award, and Summer Walker will receive the Global Visionary Award.
Walker’s recognition follows the Finally Still Over It tour, her first arena tour, which turned her now-complete Over It trilogy into a live show. The tour, which sold out venues around the world, kicked off in Toronto and ended in the U.K. with two sold-out nights at London’s O2 Arena.
Bebe Rexha will receive the Global Hitmaker Award, which recognizes her career from songwriter to charting artist. Her 2026 album Dirty Blonde reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Dance Albums chart.
Chxrry will accept the 2026 Billboard Canada Rising Star Award. She has played both intimate and stadium-sized shows during her opening stint on The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn tour. This year she played 16 sold-out shows worldwide, including two stops in Toronto.
The ceremony will be hosted by Leandra Earl and Kylie Miller of The Beaches, who were named Women of the Year in the previous edition.
