Dead Man’s Bones Tease New Music 17 Years After Debut Music News
Folk-rock duo Dead Man’s Bones, made up of actor Ryan Gosling and Zach Shields, have hinted at their first new material in 17 years, with an announcement apparently set for October 27.

Folk-rock duo Dead Man’s Bones may be returning with new music, 17 years after their self-titled debut album in 2009. The band, made up of actor Ryan Gosling and Zach Shields, has hinted at its first new material in 17 years, with an announcement seemingly slated for later this month.

The speculation began when Gosling’s partner, Eva Mendes, shared an Instagram post featuring the band’s music with the remark, “Sure wish they had new music coming out…” She then shared another post in which she wrote, “He came through on his promise to me.”

The band has also hinted at an announcement for October 27. The extent of any return remains unclear.

Formed out of Gosling and Shields’ shared fascination with the supernatural, the duo released their self-titled debut in 2009. Its blend of gothic folk and theatrical rock developed a cult following of sorts.
