Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce paid over $160,000 for a permit to host their wedding at Madison Square Garden on July 3, NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani said during a press conference on Friday, July 10. The permit covered security, street closures and traffic management around the arena from a rehearsal dinner on July 2 through the wedding itself.
Swift’s representative confirmed in a press release that the couple wore outfits designed by Christian Dior Haute Couture. The couple did not have traditional bridesmaids or groomsmen; Swift’s brother Austin served as her man of honor while Jason Kelce was Travis’ best man. Actor and comedian Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony.
Performers at the event included Stevie Nicks and Paul McCartney, who performed The Beatles’ I Want to Hold Your Hand for the first time since 1963.
