Drake revealed the title and release date for his upcoming project on Thursday after weeks of social media teasing. “Fear of Missing Out” (FOMO) is scheduled to premiere September 15 at 9 p.m. on YouTube, though it remains unclear whether that time refers to Eastern, Pacific, or local time.
The rapper first hinted at the project last month by sharing family photos with the caption “FOMO 2026.” Two weeks later, he posted an image of a CD cover titled “Fear of Missing Out.” Fans have speculated online whether the project is an upcoming album, tour, music video, or something else entirely.
Drake has a history of unconventional project reveals. In April, he hid the release date for his Iceman trilogy inside a block of ice placed in a downtown Toronto parking lot, prompting fans to use sledgehammers, blowtorches, and hairspray to access the announcement.
Earlier this week, Drake made a surprise appearance at Don Toliver’s concert in Toronto, performing tracks from his Iceman LP live for the first time. Whether the appearance was connected to the FOMO project or a possible collaboration with Toliver remains unclear.
