The Descendants: Wicked Wonderland soundtrack debuts at No. 1 on the Kid Albums chart (dated August 1), extending the Disney franchise’s chart dominance. The film premiered on Disney Channel July 16 and arrived on Disney+ July 17.
Descendants: Wicked Wonderland is the fifth film in the series and a sequel to Descendants: The Rise of Red (2024). The musical fantasy comedy stars Kylie Cantrall and Malia Baker, with chart-toppers Brandy and Rita Ora in supporting roles as Cinderella and the Queen of Hearts. Kimmy Gatewood directed.
On the Soundtracks chart, the album enters at No. 2, following four prior No. 1 debuts from the series. On the Billboard 200, it starts at No. 88—the fifth Descendants soundtrack to debut in the top half. The first three soundtracks (2015, 2017, 2019) all entered the top 10, with the original bowing at No. 1. On the Independent Albums chart, the project debuts at No. 13.
Descendants: Wicked Wonderland is the third TV soundtrack to debut on the Billboard 200 in 2026, following Heated Rivalry and Stranger Things 5.
