Young Thug and YSL Records surprise-released the double album Slime Language 3 on August 28, 2026. The 41-track project features appearances from Lil Baby, Travis Scott, Future, Yeat, Trippie Redd, Cash Cobain, Veeze, Rob49 and additional YSL roster members including Lil Keed, Tezzus, Sk8star, 1300SAINT and others.
Slime Language 3 is the third instalment in the YSL compilation series that began with Slime Language (2018) and Slime Language 2 (2021). The previous entry topped the Billboard 200 albums chart and the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
Gunna does not appear on the new project following his 2025 album The Last Wun, which fulfilled his contractual obligations to YSL after a falling-out with Young Thug. Young Thug was sentenced to 15 years probation with no prison time in October 2024 after pleading guilty in a criminal case. He released his post-sentencing album UY Scuti in September 2025.
