Jayden James, 19, son of Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, is the latest cover star of MAC Cosmetics’ relaunched digital publication MACzine, revealed August 25.
In the cover image, James holds the brand’s Fix+ Setting Spray. MAC global creative director Nicola Formichetti said in a statement: “At MAC, we celebrate emerging talent and love following their creative journeys. Jayden’s unique sensibility makes him the perfect MACzine cover star. He’s also an incredible pianist, and I’m so excited to see what he does next.”
James and his older brother Sean Preston, 20, made their runway debuts during Paris Men’s Fashion Week in June, walking in the Vetements Spring/Summer 2027 menswear show. James told Vogue he was interested in doing more modelling but acknowledged his nerves during the debut: “I could master my walk better—I was definitely stiff because I was nervous.”
Music remains central to the brothers’ creative work. James told MACzine he is continuing to work on his own music and plans to share it publicly “when he’s ready.” Sean Preston has previously described music as his foundation, and James has said the two have been making music together for years.
