Cardi B expressed her support for KATSEYE’s new song ‘Hootie Frutti’ during an Instagram Live session, singing along and performing the choreography. “Y’all hating on the song [but] me, Kulture and Blossom love it,” she said, referencing her children.
The rapper also watched the music video with her family at home, bouncing along to the beat while holding her daughter Blossom. Videos of both moments circulated on social media, with fans requesting a remix version featuring Cardi.
‘Hootie Frutti’ was released on August 14 alongside KATSEYE’s EP ‘WILD’. The track features Brazilian phonk-inspired percussion and maximalist pop production, with a colorful music video set at an underground Brazilian party. KATSEYE also performed the song on NBC’s Today show following the EP’s release.
