Victoria Monét’s sophomore album Frequency of Love won this week’s Billboard new music poll, securing 40% of votes cast by readers on Friday, October 2.
The 22-track collection, a follow-up to Jaguar II, features early singles “Let Me,” “Reach Out” and “Juicy.” Collaborators on the album include SZA, Lucky Daye, Bryson Tiller, Chlöe and Bruno Mars. The track “You Mean the World to Me” includes a feature from Monét’s 5-year-old daughter Hazel and Leon Thomas.
Monét will launch her headlining Frequency of Love Tour on October 27 in Raleigh, North Carolina, running through mid-December. The tour follows her recent appearances as a supporting act on Bruno Mars’ Romantic Tour.
In the poll, Noah Kahan’s single “Draw You Out” placed second with 29% of votes, followed by Miranda Lambert’s album Crisco with nearly 7% and Drake’s HABIBTI (FOMO) deluxe release with almost 6%.
