Kahan opened the show with a self-deprecating joke, announcing “My name is Noah Kahan and I am here to make you fucking miserable!” before pivoting to a celebratory tone throughout the evening. His catalog, which explores themes of disconnection and loneliness, was reframed as jubilant stadium rock during the performance.
The show featured elaborate stage production, including a physical rooftop structure that rose and fell to create different settings—a cabin, general store, and Vermont police cruiser—enhanced by digital projections. Kahan performed with a six-piece band and gave solo spots to ensemble members including violinist Nina de Vitry, with a three-person horn section joining for the three encore numbers.
Chappell Roan made a surprise appearance late in the set to duet with Kahan on her song “California.” Kahan praised the song as “the reason I fell in love with her music,” while Roan described Kahan as “a good person.”
Kahan addressed his complicated relationship with Los Angeles during the show, saying he had felt out of place in the city throughout his career. He dedicated a song to his wife, mother, and fans, describing them as his “three best friends.”
“The Great Divide” has remained in the top 10 since its April 2026 debut and is among the year’s most commercially successful records. Kahan previously headlined two nights at the Hollywood Bowl in mid-2024.
