Jayson Reed, 33, was arrested in North Carolina and charged with four counts of second-degree assault and public urination following an incident at a Morgan Wallen concert at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore in July.

A man accused of urinating on a family, including an 8-year-old girl, at a Morgan Wallen concert in July has been arrested in North Carolina, according to Maryland police.

Jayson Reed, 33, is charged with four counts of second-degree assault, public urination and other related offenses, the Maryland Transportation Authority Police said in a news release Wednesday evening. Deputies in Wilson County, North Carolina arrested Reed after an investigation by Maryland police and consultation with Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office led to a warrant being issued.

Troy Grevelding was at the M&T Bank Stadium concert in Baltimore with his wife, brother, and 8-year-old niece when a man behind them allegedly began urinating. Grevelding said urine landed on him and his family and told police the man was exposing himself. A brief confrontation ensued before the family left the concert and alerted security.

Officers initially told Grevelding they could not immediately arrest the alleged offender because they had not personally witnessed the incident. Maryland Transportation Authority Police subsequently opened an investigation that identified additional witnesses not present during the initial on-scene response.

Reed is jailed in North Carolina awaiting extradition to Maryland. Second-degree assault is a misdemeanor in Maryland but is punishable by a maximum of 10 years imprisonment for each count.
