Sophia announced Friday she is taking a hiatus from KATSEYE to focus on mental health and wellness, the second member to pause her involvement with the group in six months. Groupmate Manon exited in February, leaving the six-person ensemble at four active members.
The timing coincides with significant activity for KATSEYE: their album Wild arrived Friday, and their Wildworld Tour—the group’s first global trek—begins in October. It remains unclear when either Sophia or Manon will return to performing.
