Hilary Duff Honors Aaron Carter at Philadelphia Tour Stop Music News
During her Lucky Me Tour performance in Philadelphia on August 10, Hilary Duff wore a vintage Aaron Carter T-shirt as a tribute to her late childhood boyfriend, who died in November 2022.

Hilary Duff paid tribute to Aaron Carter during her Lucky Me Tour stop in Philadelphia on Sunday night, wearing a vintage white T-shirt featuring Carter’s image and name on the front.

Duff and Carter were romantically linked from around 2000 to 2003, when both were prominent figures on the Disney Channel and in pop music. Carter released the hit song “Aaron’s Party (Come Get It),” which peaked at No. 35 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2000. He also appeared on Duff’s Disney Channel series “Lizzie McGuire” in 2001, playing himself in an episode titled “Aaron Carter’s Coming to Town,” which concluded with their characters sharing a kiss.

Carter died in November 2022. Following his death, Duff posted an emotional tribute on Instagram, writing: “Boy, did my teenage self love you deeply.” In April 2026, Duff discussed an unexpected experience on the Las Culturistas podcast, recalling a psychic reading in which someone named Aaron emerged, eventually identified as Carter, whom she described as her childhood boyfriend.
