Arde Bogotá Went to Los Angeles to Make Its Most Spanish Album Yet Music News
Spanish rock band Arde Bogotá recorded its third album, Manufacturas del Club de la Gente Sola, in Los Angeles with producer Joe Chiccarelli, and has U.S. dates coming up in Brooklyn, Los Angeles and Miami in November 2026.

Spanish rock band Arde Bogotá traveled to Los Angeles to record its third album, Manufacturas del Club de la Gente Sola, with producer Joe Chiccarelli, whose credits include The Strokes and My Morning Jacket. The band previously released Cowboys de la A3 in 2023.

Frontman Antonio García told Consequence that the band wanted a producer who did not associate them with the Spanish music scene and could judge the group solely on its music. García described the result as the band’s most distinctly Spanish album yet. “I think this record is more steeped in Spanish sounds, in a Spanish essence, than anything we’ve done before,” García said.

According to the interview, Chiccarelli encountered flamenco and pasodoble elements that were unfamiliar to him but that he ultimately recognized as part of the band’s musical identity. “It wasn’t about trying to sound foreign, but quite the opposite: discovering things about ourselves that we hadn’t discovered yet,” García said.

The band’s upcoming U.S. dates include The Hall at Elsewhere in Brooklyn on November 8, 2026, Pacific Electric in Los Angeles on November 15, 2026, and ZeyZey in Miami on November 22, 2026. A Mexico City show at Teatro Metropólitan is scheduled for November 19, 2026.

García said he cannot imagine himself singing in English, though he left open the possibility that someone else might someday do so while he continues singing in Spanish.
