Rapper 50 Cent wished Sean Combs, known as Diddy, a happy birthday on Instagram on Wednesday, November 4, as Combs turned 57. The post included a jail photo of Combs, who remains incarcerated, and the message “Happy 57th B day Diddy wishing you many more, LOL.”
Billboard reported that it is unclear whether the photo is authentic. 50 Cent also posted a birthday message to Combs last year, writing then: “I told you he alright got his appeal going, Diddy good ! Happy Birthday LOL.”
50 Cent teamed up with Netflix last December on the four-part, Emmy-winning docuseries Sean Combs: The Reckoning, which examines allegations of sexual abuse against Combs.
TMZ reported in October that Combs had been transferred from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey to Federal Correctional Institution, Allenwood in Pennsylvania, following an alleged confrontation with an inmate. A spokesperson for Combs confirmed to Billboard that he had been moved to a “low-security facility.”
On an October appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, 50 Cent responded to reports that Combs had watched the docuseries in prison. “He saw the whole thing… I’m sure (he) thought it was the best documentary he ever saw in his life,” 50 Cent said.
Combs was sentenced to 50 months in prison in October 2025 after being convicted on two charges of prostitution transportation. He is scheduled to be released in March 2028.
