Country Splash Cabo, a new destination festival, held its first event September 4–6, 2026 at the Paradisus Cabo San Lucas, a 350-room all-inclusive luxury beachfront resort. The festival capped attendance at 3,000 people, positioning itself as an intimate alternative to larger field festivals.
Headliners included Riley Green, Jon Pardi and Tucker Wetmore. The undercard featured Jacob Hackworth, Blake Whiten, Zach John King, Lauren Watkins, Dasha, LoCash and Cameron Whitcomb. Live performances began at sundown, with temperatures reaching 88 degrees Fahrenheit and 67% humidity on Saturday evening.
Co-founder Robert Fried designed the event around intimacy and close proximity to artists. The festival included a wellness component featuring a yoga class with Diplo on Saturday. All-inclusive suites at the Paradisus ranged up to $10,000 for four nights, with one-day general admission passes available from $199.
Country Splash is among a growing number of music events promoting American country music in Mexico as the genre’s popularity expands in the country. Fried indicated the festival could expand to 5,000 attendees in future years.
