Lana Del Rey Announces Companion Album to ‘Stove’

Lana Del Rey Announces Companion Album to 'Stove' Music News
Lana Del Rey revealed a second album will accompany her long-awaited LP Stove, with the companion project compiled over a month with multiple collaborators to reflect changes over the past four years.

Lana Del Rey announced via Instagram that her forthcoming album Stove will be accompanied by a “beautiful, secondary album,” each representing different parts of her journey over the last four years.

Del Rey described Stove as “so lovely and intact as it was intended to be—a classic album,” while the companion project emerged as “a commentary of sorts on everything that has been going on, and the patience that was required.” She stated the secondary LP was “compiled by as many people as I could find to help me gather my thoughts about how much was changing” and took approximately one month to complete.

The artist shared vinyl artwork for both records, with one featuring a portrait framed by flowers titled “Stove” and another depicting a boat that may indicate the companion album’s title. Del Rey called the two projects “my most beautiful pieces of work.”

Del Rey has repeatedly delayed the release of her follow-up to 2023’s Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd. The album was previously titled Lasso and The Right Person Will Stay before settling on Stove.
