Olympic boxing runs as a single-elimination tournament across a series of weight classes, with the preliminary stages narrowing the field bout by bout. At this point in the schedule, competitors are still working through early rounds rather than medal bouts, so expect a program built from multiple individual matches rather than one headline contest. Each match itself is short, typically three rounds, but a session groups several bouts back to back, which is why the listed sessions carry generous time blocks rather than fixed single-fight start times.
These preliminary sessions take place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, with nine sessions spread between Saturday, July 15 and Sunday, July 23, 2028. Several dates carry both a midday and an evening session, so spectators should check the specific time slot rather than assume one sitting per day covers everything on the calendar for that date.
The schedule below lists exact dates, times and the venue for each of the nine sessions. Since these are preliminary stages, the bracket is still being decided, and no session on this list is identified as a final; attending one of these dates means watching the tournament take shape rather than seeing a medal decided.
