Lucy Dacus is reissuing her debut album No Burden to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The reissue arrives December 4 on special seaglass vinyl, with preorders underway.
The reissue is led by the previously unreleased track “No Thank You, I Love You, Goodbye,” recorded with producer Adrian Olsen and guitarist Alan Good Parker. The song features fuzzed-out guitar and lyrics including: “I swore to myself / I would not follow your lead / So why did I get in the car every evening?” Dacus has performed the track occasionally over the years and it has become a fan favorite.
No Burden includes songs “I Don’t Wanna Be Funny Anymore” and “Strange Torpedo,” among others.
Dacus released her album Forever Is a Feeling in March 2026. In April, she released “Planting Tomatoes” as a Record Store Day exclusive 7-inch vinyl before it appeared on streaming platforms. She is concluding her summer tour with a special tribute performance of Cat Power’s album The Greatest alongside Cat Power and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra on September 13 at the Hollywood Bowl.
