Kane Brown and Kacey Musgraves are headlining LONGHAUL, a new country music festival launching in Australia in January 2027. The inaugural event will run across three cities in one weekend: Melbourne Showgrounds on Friday, January 22; Sydney Showground on Saturday, January 23; and Brisbane RNA Showgrounds on Sunday, January 24.
The festival lineup also includes Charles Wesley Godwin, Margo Price, Maddox Batson, Ava Hall, James Barker Band, Beau Shearer, Denvah, Nathan Lamont, Taylor Moss and Tyla Rodrigues. Brown and Musgraves are billed as making only Australian appearances at the festival.
Presented by LONGHAUL Touring and powered by TEG Live, the festival combines arena-level U.S. acts, Americana artists, emerging international performers and local talent. “We have been working very hard on this festival concept for a number of years,” Tim McGregor, global head of touring at TEG Live, said in a statement.
Brown topped all five of Billboard’s main country charts simultaneously in 2017. Musgraves’ 2024 album Deeper Well debuted at No. 1 on multiple Billboard charts, and her 2018 album Golden Hour won album of the year at the 2019 Grammy Awards.
