Louis Tomlinson, former One Direction member and longtime Oasis fan, recently shared his disappointment after failing to secure tickets for Oasis' highly anticipated 2025 reunion tour. Tickets for the tour went on sale on Saturday (August 31) and were sold out by 7 PM, leaving many fans, including Tomlinson, empty-handed.

Speaking to Sky Sports’ Martin Brundle at the Italian Grand Prix on September 1, Tomlinson revealed his unsuccessful attempt to get tickets. "I didn’t, I was in the queue, but I never got a number… I did try, I did try," he said, expressing his frustration with the long wait times and the queueing system.

When asked if he might be able to leverage his celebrity status to get a free ticket from the Gallagher brothers, Tomlinson replied with a hopeful, "I have my fingers crossed."

Oasis' reunion tour has generated massive excitement, especially since it marks the first time in 16 years that Liam and Noel Gallagher will share the stage. The tour, dubbed "Oasis Live ’25," is expected to gross a staggering £400 million, with fans eagerly snapping up tickets despite the challenges posed by Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing system. This system, which adjusts ticket prices based on demand, left many fans frustrated as prices soared in the final stages of the ticket sale.

Tomlinson has been vocal in the past about his admiration for Oasis, often praising the Britpop icons and expressing a desire to see more bands like them in the current music scene. He even credited Noel Gallagher as a “lyricist and composer” on his 2020 single "Walls," which included elements from three Oasis tracks.

The scramble for Oasis tickets has sparked further debate around Ticketmaster's dynamic pricing and secondary ticketing sites. Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy has called for a review of these practices, highlighting the need for a fairer system for fans.

In other Oasis-related news, former guitarist Gem Archer is reportedly set to rejoin the band for the reunion tour, adding even more excitement to the already sold-out shows. Meanwhile, Oasis is currently competing with Sabrina Carpenter to secure this week’s UK Number One single, proving that the band's influence remains as strong as ever.
