Fairgrounds Cricket Stadium, on the LA County Fairplex grounds in Pomona, hosts a single Olympic session on the evening of Thursday, July 27, 2028. Cricket makes a rare Olympic appearance at LA28, and this venue is set up specifically to stage the sport’s matches during the Games, with the surrounding Fairplex site more commonly known for its exhibitions, concerts and the annual LA County Fair.
The match format for Olympic cricket is Twenty20, which keeps games to a fixed, relatively short number of overs per side and typically wraps up within a few hours, making a single evening session a manageable watch. Spectators attending on July 27 should expect one complete cricket fixture rather than a day of staggered events, since this is the only session scheduled at the venue.
Details on which teams play, session length and any further scheduling specifics are not included here. Anyone planning to attend should check the full schedule listed below on this page for the exact time and confirm any additional information closer to the Games.
