This page explains what happens to data when you read GetUrTix News (news.geturtix.com). It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What we collect ourselves
We do not ask you to register, and we do not run newsletters or comment forms on this site, so we hold no accounts, names or email addresses of readers. Our web server keeps standard access logs — IP address, time, page requested, browser — for security and troubleshooting, and they are rotated automatically.
If you email us, we keep that correspondence in order to answer it.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and where visitors come from. It sets cookies and reports aggregate statistics; we do not use it to identify individuals.
Advertising
This site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technology to serve and measure ads, and, depending on your settings, to personalise them. You can review and change what Google uses at My Ad Center, and opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings.
Readers in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent dialogue before personalised advertising cookies are set, and can change that choice at any time through the same dialogue.
Links out
Ticket links lead to geturtix.com, operated by the same company, and news articles link to the publications they came from. Once you follow a link, the privacy policy of that site applies — including anything it does with cookies or your order data.
Your choices
Your browser can block or delete cookies, including ours and Google’s; the site remains readable without them. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, and to have it deleted. Write to contact@geturtix.com and we will answer.
