Gracie Abrams performed two songs on Saturday Night Live on Saturday: one from her latest studio album, Daughter from Hell, and one from its forthcoming deluxe version. She opened with the album’s first track, “Hit the Wall.”
Abrams debuted on the show in 2024 in support of that year’s The Secret of Us.
The 27-year-old singer-songwriter said the album, which debuted atop the Billboard 200, reflects the “in-between quality” of her maturation. “The theme to me is trying to paint an accurate picture of all of these different versions of who you are in this decade,” Abrams said.
Abrams also described her songwriting: “I was really careful to try to have a better understanding of being both the protagonist and the antagonist in each song.”
Deluxe version and tour
Abrams announced this week a deluxe version of Daughter from Hell, set for release November 20. It will include five new songs, including “Here You Come, There You Go,” which she also performed on Saturday.
She is set to begin the Look at My Life Tour in Denver on December 2 and conclude in late May in Barcelona, with multiple dates in all 27 cities on the itinerary. Supporting acts include Rachel Chinouriri, Del Water Gap, Jensen McRae, and The Japanese House.
