Paul McCartney confirmed he sang "I Want to Hold Your Hand" at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's July 3 wedding reception at Madison Square Garden in New York City, after Swift requested the 1964 Beatles classic.

Paul McCartney confirmed on the October 2 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live that he performed “I Want to Hold Your Hand” at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding reception on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

“She asked me to do it,” McCartney said of Swift’s request to perform the 1964 Beatles classic. McCartney revealed he suggested Swift join him on stage, telling her: “You should sing along. You should sing to your man.”

Kelce previously described the event on his New Heights podcast, saying it was “a night out we’ll never forget,” adding: “Me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up… And it was just so magical, man. I wish it could’ve lasted even longer than it did.” He explained the couple chose Madison Square Garden for its ability to provide “a very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions.”

Wedding attendees have largely kept details private. Swift and Kelce have not released any wedding photographs. Dakota Johnson, a close friend and wedding guest, told BBC Radio 1 she did not expect photos to emerge from the day.
