Country Grammy winner Zach Bryan wore a 'Free Palestine' shirt during his With Heaven On Tour stop at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts on October 2, weeks after venue owner Robert Kraft was involved in removing Macklemore from Ed Sheeran's Loop Tour over pro-Palestinian statements.

Zach Bryan wore a black T-shirt reading “Free Palestine” during the first of two dates on his With Heaven On Tour at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts on Friday, October 2. Members of Bryan’s band were also spotted wearing matching shirts, according to TMZ.

The choice of venue and wardrobe follows Kraft Group owner Robert Kraft’s involvement in removing rapper Macklemore from the remaining U.S. dates of Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour. Macklemore declared “Free Palestine” during opening sets at MetLife Stadium on September 4 and 5 and performed his 2024 protest song “Hind’s Hall.” On September 14, tour promoter Messina Touring Group confirmed Macklemore’s removal after multiple NFL stadium owners reportedly threatened to pull shows if he remained on the bill.

Kraft confirmed his involvement in a statement, saying he felt a responsibility to speak up on antisemitism concerns while acknowledging that Palestinian suffering is real. Sheeran said the removal was the promoter’s decision, not his. In response, fellow tour openers Finneas, Aaron Rowe, Lukas Graham and Irish folk band Beoga exited in solidarity.

Macklemore responded with an Instagram post detailing the financial and professional costs of his advocacy. He pledged $1 million from touring earnings to Palestinian aid organizations and announced a Free Palestine Tour across Dublin, Paris and London from October 26 to 30, which he said sold out immediately.

Bryan has previously drawn criticism from government figures. In October 2025, a teaser of his song “Bad News”—which references ICE raids—prompted public criticism from the Department of Homeland Security and the White House. Bryan pushed back, arguing the song spoke to both sides of the aisle. The track appeared on his album With Heaven on Top, released January 9, 2026.

Bryan is scheduled to perform the second night of his Gillette Stadium stand on Saturday, October 3. Kraft has not yet publicly responded to the shirt.
