Drake commented on Bruno Mars’ new “Dance With Me” music video Thursday, in which Karol G stars as Mars’ love interest. Drake posted on Instagram: “Holy this guy works fast,” a response to Mars’ romantic casting choice. The comment accumulated more than 34,000 likes.
The exchange follows Drake’s surprise appearance at Karol G’s Houston concert on Sunday, where he performed “One Dance” and joined her for the live debut of their collaboration “Ahí.” The track reached No. 44 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Hot Latin Songs chart in August.
Bruno Mars posted a photo from his private jet Thursday before releasing the “Dance With Me” video, in which he called Karol G “my Juliet in this music video.” Mars wrote on Instagram: “Watching you work has been so inspiring. For those that don’t know this beautiful woman works so hard and loves her fans so much.”
Mars and Karol G previously collaborated on “Still” from her album No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto, which peaked at No. 41 on the Hot 100. Mars performed the song’s live debut with Karol G at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on August 15.
