The Teskey Brothers, ARIA Award winners, will headline Global Citizen Nights: Perth, a free ticketed concert on October 20 at Riverside Theatre, Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre. South Summit and Ruby Rodgers will also perform.
The concert concludes the Global Citizen NOW: Perth action summit (October 18–20), which brings together leaders from government, business and philanthropy to spotlight Western Australia’s potential as a renewable energy giant.
“It’s a real honor to be invited to play at Global Citizen Nights: Perth,” said Josh Teskey, frontman of The Teskey Brothers.
The Teskey Brothers’ 2023 album The Winding Way debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA Chart, their second chart-topper, and won best blues & roots album at the ARIA Awards. The concert marks Global Citizen’s first Perth event since the 2011 End of Polio concert.
Other summit participants include retired Australian swimming champion Ian Thorpe, OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann, and WA-based musician John Butler, who will deliver a keynote address. Free tickets are available at globalcitizen.org/nights.
