Miley Cyrus’s album Bass Persuades debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 for the week ending September 24, with 61,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States, according to Luminate data reported by Billboard.
The 10th studio album marks Cyrus’s first number-one album in more than a decade. Bass Persuades is her sixth album to top the chart and the first to reach number one since 2013’s Bangerz. The album arrived on September 18, preceded by its title track on September 3, which debuted at number 35 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Of the 61,000 units, 47,000 comprised album sales, while 14,000 were streaming equivalent albums (SEA), equating to 14.22 million on-demand official streams. The opening week was supported by sales across 16 vinyl variants, nine CD versions, six download variants, and a cassette, with several including bonus tracks.
Bass Persuades follows her previous album Something Beautiful, which peaked at number four on the June 14, 2025 albums chart. Cyrus now has 16 top-10 albums across her work as Miley Cyrus and her releases as Disney character Hannah Montana.
On the broader chart, Ella Langley’s Dandelion held at number two with just under 61,000 equivalent units. Riley Green’s That’s Just Me debuted at number three with 60,000 units, while Beabadoobee scored her first top-10 album with Pylon at number seven with 35,000 units.
