Tame Impala and Genesis Owusu lead the 2026 ARIA Awards nominations with eight each, followed by Ecca Vandal with seven. The ceremony will be presented Wednesday, November 18 at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion.
Kevin Parker’s Tame Impala, a 13-time ARIA Award winner, is nominated for album of the year, best solo artist, best pop release and best dance/electronic release, riding the success of his fifth studio album Deadbeat. The album features “Dracula,” which has spent 18 weeks in Australia’s national top 10, peaking at No. 4.
Genesis Owusu, who has collected seven ARIAs, released his third album REDSTAR WU & THE WORLDWIDE SCOURGE earlier this year and is nominated for album of the year, best solo artist and best independent release, among others. Ecca Vandal earned seven nominations for her sophomore album Looking For People To Unfollow.
Baker Boy, BOY SODA, G Flip, Miss Kaninna and Ninajirachi each received five nominations. Dom Dolla, DMA’S and Troye Sivan each earned four nominations.
Four ARIA categories will be publicly voted through Spotify and the official ARIA website from September 24 to November 9: best Australian live act, song of the year, best video and most popular international artist. The ceremony will be broadcast on Paramount+ and 10, with performances available on the ARIA.official YouTube channel.
