50 Cent announced a collaboration with Eminem and the late 2Pac for the Street Fighter soundtrack during an appearance on Today With Jenna and Sheinelle on Friday, July 24.
“I got some music that I’m working on. I did something currently me, Eminem and 2Pac,” 50 Cent said. He clarified that he obtained approval from 2Pac’s estate and that the late rapper’s vocals are not AI-generated. “They delivered it. It’s for the theme of Street Fighter, the movie. We worked on it and got it right,” he added.
The track will be “coming out shortly,” 50 Cent said, ahead of Street Fighter’s U.S. theatrical release on October 16. 50 Cent stars in the live-action remake as Balrog, alongside Jason Momoa, Noah Centineo, Orville Peck and Roman Reigns.
50 Cent and Eminem last collaborated on “Gunz N Smoke” from Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s Missionary album in December 2024. The two have worked together frequently since the 2000s on tracks including “Don’t Push Me,” “Patiently Waiting” and “You Don’t Know.”
