SZA, the seven-time Grammy winner, will voice a character in CoComelon: The Movie, the first feature-length film from the popular children’s franchise. DreamWorks Jr. unveiled the movie’s first teaser trailer on August 6, 2026, ahead of its theatrical release on February 19, 2027.
The film follows JJ and his friends as they search for his beloved stuffed bear Boba. Their chase takes an unexpected turn when they are transported through a mysterious lost-and-found box into a magical new world, setting off a quest to reunite JJ with his favourite companion.
Grammy-nominated songwriter and executive music producer Justin Tranter is composing original music for the film. Tranter has previously worked with artists including Chappell Roan, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez.
CoComelon: The Movie is directed by Kat Good and produced by DreamWorks Animation, Moonbug Entertainment, Flywheel Media and Prime Focus Studios, with Universal Pictures handling theatrical distribution.
