Argentine rapper Milo J is celebrating the first anniversary of his Latin Grammy-nominated album La Vida Era Más Corta by releasing La Jangada, a new live album featuring reimagined versions of eight songs from the original project.
The live album includes guest appearances from Mon Laferte and Trueno. Trueno joins Milo J on a new rendition of “Gil,” while Laferte performs a stripped-down version of “Jangadero,” a song that originally featured the late Mercedes Sosa. The project was recorded on a floating platform along a riverbank and is available on streaming services and as a filmed performance on Milo J’s YouTube channel.
La Vida Era Más Corta, released in September 2025, earned six nominations for the 2026 Latin Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year. The track “Niño” is nominated for Record of the Year, while “Solifican12” received a Song of the Year nomination.
