Drake released the ‘HABIBTI’ deluxe edition on Friday, October 2, comprising four tracks from his ‘FOMO’ short film. The package includes two collaborations with Don Toliver: ‘Cold Shoulder’ featuring Yebba, and ‘Solar Eclipse’, which interpolates Ella Langley’s ‘Choosin Texas’.
The deluxe also features ‘Quebec’ and ‘Classic Pt. 2’, an extended version of the original ‘HABIBTI’ track. Drake announced the release earlier in the week during a Kick stream, stating that songs from ‘FOMO’ would arrive on streaming services.
‘Solar Eclipse’ samples Langley’s ‘Choosin Texas’, which has spent 24 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100. Don Toliver appears on both new Toliver collaborations on the deluxe edition.
Drake released the ‘ICEMAN’, ‘HABIBTI’ and ‘MAID OF HONOUR’ trifecta in May, which occupied the top three positions on the Billboard 200. ‘Janice STFU’ from ‘ICEMAN’ became Drake’s longest-running No. 1 on the Hot Rap Songs chart, spending 19 weeks at the summit.
Drake is preparing for his first North American tour since 2023’s ‘It’s All A Blur Tour’, with a world tour planned for next year.
