Celine Dion fell during a performance at the Plenitude Arena in Paris, then got back to her feet and continued the song. A video circulating on social media shows Dion sliding across the stage while singing Dans un autre monde, one of the French-language songs on her current setlist.

In the clip, Dion appears to jump and land awkwardly, with her heel possibly catching on her pants before she loses her balance and falls backward. She stayed down briefly, then rose and gave the audience a thumbs-up before resuming the song.

The fall took place during the 11th show of Dion’s 26-date Paris residency, which began September 12, 2026, and runs through October 17, 2026. The residency marks her return to regular live performances after a six-year hiatus, and another 10 performances are scheduled for May 2027.

Dion publicly revealed in December 2022 that she has stiff-person syndrome, a rare neurological disorder. The condition has caused muscle spasms and affected her ability to walk and sing, and it led her to step away from touring and cancel planned performances. She described the period in her 2024 documentary I Am: Celine Dion, including relying on medication and the emotional toll of concealing her health situation.
