Carín León’s “Desde Que Te Tengo” takes the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Latin Pop Airplay chart dated October 17, earning the regional Mexican singer his third No. 1 on the chart. The song reaches the top in its 20th week, matching the 20-week climb of Karol G and Marco Antonio Solís’ “Coleccionando Heridas.” Danny Ocean’s “Corazón” and Ricardo Montaner’s “Para Que Seas Feliz” took the longest this year, at 23 weeks each.
According to Luminate, “Desde Que Te Tengo” earned 5.5 million audience impressions in the United States in the week ending October 8, up 45%. The song displaces Ricardo Montaner’s “Feliz,” which falls to No. 3 after a four-week reign at No. 1. León also has “El Sombrero y La Camisa,” his collaboration with Kany García, in the top 10, where it dips from No. 6 to No. 7 in its third week in the upper tier.
León becomes the third primarily regional Mexican artist to lead Latin Pop Airplay in 2026. Solís and Karol G’s “Coleccionando Heridas” holds the year’s longest reign at 15 weeks, and Xavi’s “DOSIS” led for eight consecutive weeks. On the overall Latin Airplay chart, “Desde Que Te Tengo” rises from No. 20 to No. 10 in its first week in the top 10, marking León’s 16th top 10 on that chart.
Outside Latin pop, Lenin Ramírez’s “Polvo Rosita” rises from No. 10 to No. 9 on Hot Latin Songs and reaches No. 1 on Regional Mexican Airplay. The track earned 6.2 million U.S. audience impressions during the tracking week, up 22%. It follows Ramírez’s previous Regional Mexican Airplay No. 1, “Todo Lo Fue,” which led for one week in May. That song marked his first chart-topper in more than five years, following “Yo Ya No Vuelvo Contigo,” featuring Grupo Firme, a one-week leader in June 2020.
