Miley has returned to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart dated October 3, 2026, with her album Bass Persuades, which earned 61,000 equivalent album units in its debut week in the United States.
The achievement marks her sixth Billboard 200 leader and 16th top 10 album across her billings as Miley, Miley Cyrus and Disney’s Hannah Montana. She last led the Billboard 200 with Bangerz in 2013, following her first four No. 1s in 2006-09.
She is one of three acts to have topped the Billboard 200 this year and reigned in three or more distinct decades. She joins Madonna, who has led the chart in the 1980s, 2000s, 2010s and 2020s, and Taylor Swift, who has topped it in the 2000s, 2010s and 2020s.
Madonna has also added a milestone No. 1 on the Billboard Dance Airplay chart from her latest Billboard 200 No. 1 album, Confessions II.
