Becca Hatch and Lewis Love have been tapped for Spotify’s RADAR program, the streaming platform’s global initiative supporting emerging artists from Australia and New Zealand.
Hatch, an R&B artist of Kamilaroi and Samoan heritage, and Love, a country-leaning singer-songwriter, will receive six months of cross-platform support including editorial playlist placement, on-platform takeovers, and social and editorial promotion. Hatch’s new EP Black Flower is due February 3, 2027, via G.Y.R.O., while Love is releasing his first album through a new deal with EMPIRE.
Hatch’s recent accolades include a 2024 NIMA Award for best breakthrough artist, the 2025 APRA Professional Development Award, and an ARIA Award nomination for best soul/R&B for her 2026 collection Garden. She performed her original verse on Coldplay’s “We Pray” at two sold-out shows at Sydney’s Accor Stadium in 2024.
“I love making music about feminine strength, being free, and growing into yourself,” Hatch said in a statement. “It feels so special to have Spotify supporting me on this journey with Black Flower.”
Love added: “I’m so grateful to Spotify for making me a RADAR artist. I’m really excited for the whole world to hear what we’ve been working on.”
Previous RADAR artists from Australia and New Zealand include Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Blusher, Genesis Owusu, Larissa Lambert, Baker Boy, and Royel Otis. Since its 2020 global launch, RADAR AUNZ has driven over 47 million discoveries, according to Spotify.
