Angus & Julia Stone’s album Karaoke Bar (via Virgin Music) has debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA Album Chart. It is the sibling act’s third album to reach the top of Australia’s national chart, following Down The Way in 2010 and Angus & Julia Stone in 2014. All six of the Stones’ albums have entered the top 10.
The six-time ARIA Award winners are currently playing dates in North America on their Karaoke Bar World Tour, with homecoming shows scheduled for February and March 2027.
“We’re blown away to hear that Karaoke Bar is the No. 1 album in Australia,” the pair said in a statement. “To have this album go to No. 1 here at home means the world to us.”
Karaoke Bar is the third ARIA No. 1 album from an Australian act in 2026, following releases from Karnivool and DMA’S. Other new chart entries include Slovak singer-songwriter Adela’s debut Prima at No. 6 and British metal act President’s Blood of Your Empire at No. 9.
On the ARIA Singles Chart, Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” held the No. 1 position for a 13th consecutive week, the longest run for any country song on the chart.
