Usher dismissed rumors that he employed a body double during a recent concert on his Raymond & Brown Tour with Chris Brown. Fans had circulated videos from his August 7 show at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, claiming the performer looked different than usual.
In a video posted to the tour’s official Instagram page, Usher responded to the speculation. “Ya’ll are funny…clone?” he wrote. “They can’t clone this?? How ya’ll come up with this? AI ain’t that advanced.”
Concertgoers had shared clips online questioning whether the performer onstage was actually Usher. “Usher, why’d you have to play us all like that last night?” one TikTok user wrote. “That is NOT Usher.”
The Raymond & Brown Tour continues through December 12, 2026, concluding at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. Usher last toured in 2024 in support of his album Coming Home.
