Bringing Down the Horse, released May 21, 1996, peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and was certified quadruple platinum in the U.S.; in Australia it reached No. 9 on the ARIA chart and went gold. Lead single “One Headlight” topped Billboard’s Mainstream Rock, Modern Rock and Triple-A airplay charts simultaneously and won two Grammy Awards in 1998. The album also produced “6th Avenue Heartache,” “The Difference” and “Three Marlenas.”
Each show will also feature a full performance of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ 1982 album Long After Dark — a tribute the band says reflects a formative influence on frontman Jakob Dylan. Dylan, the son of Bob Dylan, has led the Wallflowers for more than three decades.
