Rodrigo Brings Nicks, McLachlan, Morissette to Daisy Chain Finale

Olivia Rodrigo headlined her inaugural all-women festival at Irvine's Great Park on Saturday, performing with Stevie Nicks, Sarah McLachlan, and Alanis Morissette. The event donated $10 million to nonprofits benefitting women and girls.

Olivia Rodrigo capped her inaugural all-women festival with a headlining set at Irvine, California’s Great Park on Saturday night, recruiting her heroes Stevie Nicks, Sarah McLachlan, and Alanis Morissette to the stage.

Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain festival, inspired by Lilith Fair, donated $10 million to nonprofits benefitting women and girls. McLachlan, who founded Lilith Fair in the late 1990s, joined Rodrigo for duets on “Building a Mystery” and “Angel,” which they dedicated to Dolly Parton, who died on August 25 at age 80.

Morissette performed “Ironic” from her 1995 album Jagged Little Pill with Rodrigo, who first met Morissette in 2021 when both appeared on a Rolling Stone cover. Nicks and Rodrigo enchanted the crowd with “Landslide,” trading verses while dancing together. “She reminds me of me, when I was her age a hundred years ago,” Nicks told the audience.

Rodrigo performed songs from her new album You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love and recent single “Serena Joy,” alongside classics including “Bad Idea Right?,” “Good 4 U,” and “Drivers License.”
