Buckcherry was involved in a multi-vehicle accident on I-26 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, at approximately 2:00 AM Friday while traveling for its Roar Like Thunder Tour. Authorities confirmed that a fatality occurred in the collision ahead of the tour bus.
“Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the family and loved ones of the person who lost their life,” the band said in a statement. Band members and touring crew sustained no injuries.
The band’s scheduled performance at the Culture Room in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Friday is expected to proceed as planned, with no other changes to the tour schedule announced.
Buckcherry is currently touring in support of its 11th album, Roar Like Thunder, released in June 2025 via Round Hill Records. The album was recorded in Nashville at Sienna Studios and produced by Marti Frederiksen. The current lineup includes frontman Josh Todd (the sole original member), guitarist Stevie Dacanay, guitarist Billy Rowe, bass player Kelly LeMieux, and drummer Francis Ruiz.
