Barry Manilow’s concert in Lexington, Kentucky, was postponed just as Rupp Arena was scheduled to open its doors. The announcement on the singer’s social media stated: “Due to unforeseen circumstances tonight’s show in Lexington has been rescheduled.” No specific reason was provided.
This marks the second postponement of the Lexington stop. Manilow previously rescheduled a March 9 performance as he continued recovering from lung cancer. The venue confirmed that all previously purchased tickets will be honored once a new date is announced.
Manilow announced in December that he would undergo surgery to remove a cancerous spot on his lung. He subsequently postponed his 2026 farewell tour launch in January, then again in February, citing the need for additional recovery time. Further postponements followed, including his Las Vegas residency in February and March, and the Northwest U.S. leg of his tour scheduled for April and May.
The singer is now cancer-free and has returned to touring. He released his first new album in nearly 15 years, What a Time. Manilow still appears to be scheduled to perform in Cincinnati on Wednesday.
